A Life Remembered, A Soul Forever Missed.
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we remember Douglas Molina Martinez, 56, of San Angelo, Texas, whose life was tragically taken following a devastating three-vehicle crash Monday morning at the intersection of U.S. Highway 87 and FM 2105.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred around 6:45 a.m. and involved a Chevrolet 2500 truck, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and a Chevrolet Trax. Douglas was riding his motorcycle when the crash occurred. Despite the efforts at the scene, he was pronounced deceased and later taken to Robert Massie Funeral Home.
His passing leaves behind a silence that words can never truly fill. Fifty-six years of memories, moments, laughter, relationships, and experiences now live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. A life can end in a moment, but the memories created throughout that life do not disappear. They remain—in photographs, in stories, in familiar places, and in the hearts of family and friends.
The preliminary investigation indicated that the truck entered the intersection and struck Douglas’s motorcycle before colliding with the Chevrolet Trax. Two other drivers were transported to Shannon Medical Center with minor injuries.
As authorities continue their investigation, the community is left to mourn a life that mattered deeply. May Douglas’s memory be a source of comfort to everyone who loved him, and may those closest to him find strength during this heartbreaking time.
