Some moments change everything. Some losses leave a silence that words can never truly fill. Today, we pause to remember Destiny Gay, 24, of West Chazy, and Robbie Grant, 54, of Hogansburg, whose lives were tragically taken in a heartbreaking UTV crash in Dannemora, New York.
On Saturday evening, September 19, a joyful or ordinary day suddenly became a devastating one. Authorities said the UTV was traveling along Sunset Road when Destiny lost control, left the north shoulder, struck a tree, and rolled over. Despite the response of Lyon Mountain Fire and Rescue personnel, both Destiny and Robbie were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two lives. Two stories. Two people who mattered deeply to someone. 💔
Behind the names are memories that will never disappear—smiles shared, conversations remembered, moments cherished, and the countless little things that made them who they were. Their absence will be felt in ways that words cannot explain.
May those who loved Destiny find comfort in every beautiful memory she left behind. May Robbie’s family and friends find strength in the love and memories that remain. Though their time here was tragically shortened, the imprint they left on the hearts of others can never be erased.
