Some losses are impossible to put into words. 💔🕊️ Today, we remember Johnathine Allen Chase, 19, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose young life was tragically cut short following a fatal crash at the intersection of 11th Street and Grange Avenue.
At just 19 years old, Johnathine had so much life still ahead of him—dreams waiting to be fulfilled, memories yet to be made, and countless moments that should have been shared with family, friends, and loved ones. His passing leaves behind a silence that words can never truly fill.
News of a young life ending so suddenly is a heartbreaking reminder of how precious and fragile every moment can be. One day, someone is here, making memories, sharing laughter, and becoming part of the lives of those around them. Then, without warning, everything changes.

The Sioux Falls Police Department identified Johnathine as the driver involved in the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities said additional information will be released as the investigation progresses.
