On September 22, 2026, the Wylie community was touched by a heartbreaking loss when a tragic crash claimed the life of 42-year-old Wylie resident Anthony Mills.
At approximately 6:00 p.m., Wylie Police and Wylie Fire Rescue responded to the area of S. Ballard Avenue and Elm Drive following a devastating collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV. Despite the courageous efforts of first responders and life-saving measures at the scene, Anthony sadly could not be saved.
Some moments change everything. One moment, a life is moving forward, filled with hopes, memories, laughter, and tomorrow’s plans. Then, without warning, everything becomes painfully still.
Anthony’s passing leaves behind an emptiness that words can never truly fill. A life that mattered. A presence that will be missed. A name that will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though the road ahead for his family and friends may now feel unbearably difficult, may the memories they shared become gentle reminders of the beautiful life he lived.
