On the evening of Saturday, September 19, 2026, a heartbreaking tragedy unfolded along Highway 101 near Gleneden Beach in Lincoln County, Oregon, forever changing the lives of those who knew and loved Nicholas Ryan Perkins, 41, of Portland. Nicholas was struck by a vehicle while he was in or near the roadway and was subsequently struck by two additional vehicles. Despite the circumstances, he could not be saved and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
