On September 17, 2026, around 8:30 p.m., Kentucky State Police Post 11 London responded to a barn fire on KY-577 after receiving a request for assistance from Clay County 911. The following morning, an autopsy was conducted, and the victim was identified as Nathaniel D. Carter. Investigators later located and interviewed Dalton S. Bowling, who was subsequently arrested and charged with murder. The investigation remains ongoing. (https://www.wkyt.com)
