A Young Life Gone Too Soon.

With hearts weighed down by sorrow, we remember Alyssa Messina, 21, of Vidor, Texas, whose life was tragically taken in the early hours of Saturday, September 19, 2026. At an age when so many chapters of life were still waiting to be written, Alyssa’s journey came to an unimaginable end, leaving behind a silence that words can never fully describe.

At approximately 2:03 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to the Salt Water Barrier in the 6700 block of Bigner in connection with a large disturbance. As officers made their way to the area, dispatch reported several vehicles leaving at a high rate of speed. During the incident, one vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into a parked flatbed trailer.

Alyssa, who was riding in the front passenger seat, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver was transported to a Houston-area hospital in critical condition. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking crash.

Today, we pause to remember Alyssa not simply as a name in a report, but as a young woman whose life held dreams, memories, laughter, love, and moments that mattered. Twenty-one years is far too short for a story to end.

May Alyssa’s memory remain a light in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. May those grieving find strength in the memories she leaves behind, and may her soul rest peacefully beyond the pain of this world.

Rest peacefully, Alyssa Messina. You will never be forgotten. 🕊️🕯️
