Lynch, a 38-year-old man from Onyx, lost his life following a devastating crash on Sierra Way in Kernville, California, on Saturday, September 19. According to the California Highway Patrol, the Ford pickup he was driving left the roadway and struck the canyon wall before overturning multiple times. Lynch was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person traveling in the vehicle suffered major injuries and was transported to Kern Medical for treatment. Investigators said drugs and/or alcohol appear to have been a factor in the crash.
