🕊️ Amy Sier, 54, of Mardela Springs, Maryland, has passed away following a heartbreaking crash in Sussex County, Delaware, leaving behind a silence that words can never fully describe.
On September 15, around 5:50 p.m., Amy was traveling south on Old Stage Road when an SUV she was driving was struck on the driver’s side by a pickup truck traveling west on Salt Barn Road. Investigators said the pickup truck failed to stop at the stop sign before entering the intersection. Amy was taken to a hospital, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries.
A moment on an ordinary road became a moment of unimaginable sorrow. A life filled with memories, hopes, conversations, and moments shared with others was suddenly taken away. Amy was more than a name in a heartbreaking report. She was a daughter, a friend, a loved one, and a cherished part of the lives of those who knew her.
Her passing reminds us how fragile every journey can be and how quickly an ordinary evening can become a lifetime of memories.
