Some losses are simply too painful for words to hold. Last Monday, September 14th, the Catalano family experienced a heartbreaking tragedy that changed their lives forever. Hunter John Catalano, a beloved 17-year-old son, twin, brother, and friend, was taken far too soon in a devastating car crash and fire in Guthrie.
Hunter was an Edmond resident and student, a young man standing at the threshold of adulthood, with his 18th birthday only days away. There should have been celebrations, laughter, birthday wishes, and dreams of the future. Instead, his family is now facing the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye to a child they loved so deeply.
To his family, Hunter was more than a name. He was a cherished son, a beloved twin, a treasured brother, and a friend whose presence brought light into the lives of those around him. Though his time on earth was heartbreakingly short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever.
Now, Shelly, Kiley, and the entire Catalano family need the kindness and compassion of their community. A meal, a donation, a shared message, a prayer, or simply remembering Hunter can help carry them through these darkest days.
