With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we remember Sandra Lee Fincher, 70, of Rome, Georgia, whose life was tragically taken on Tuesday morning after she was struck by a vehicle on Shorter Avenue.
In the quiet hours just before 7:00 a.m., a heartbreaking tragedy unfolded—one that left a family, a community, and those who knew Sandra facing a loss that words can scarcely express. Though the circumstances surrounding her passing are still being investigated, what remains certain is that a life that mattered has been lost far too soon.
Sandra was more than a name in a report. She was a human being who had lived seven decades filled with memories, experiences, hopes, struggles, smiles, and moments that became part of the lives of others. Somewhere, there are memories of her voice, her presence, her kindness, and the simple moments that once seemed ordinary but may now mean everything.
