With heavy hearts, we remember Sharlott Dawn Olberg, 68, of Newfolden, Minnesota, whose life was tragically taken in a head-on crash near Thief River Falls on Sunday evening.
Some losses are difficult to put into words. There are moments when silence speaks louder than anything we could ever say, because a life that once brought warmth, love, laughter, and memories has suddenly become a cherished memory itself. Sharlott’s passing leaves behind an emptiness that words cannot fill and a sadness that time may soften, but never completely erase.
She was more than a name in a heartbreaking news report. She was a person with a story, a lifetime of experiences, memories shared with others, and a place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Every life leaves footprints, and even when someone is gone, those footprints remain—in photographs, in stories, in familiar places, and in the quiet moments when memories return.
Our thoughts are with Sharlott’s family, friends, loved ones, and everyone mourning this devastating loss. We also extend heartfelt wishes for healing to Nicole Johnson, 31, of Red Lake Falls, who was injured in the crash and reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
