Some goodbyes come far too soon, leaving behind a silence that words can never truly fill. Today, we remember Bonnie Groves, 90, of Pleasant City, Ohio, whose life came to a heartbreaking end following a tragic two-vehicle crash on State Route 146 in Noble County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred Friday when a dark green John Deere UTV traveling eastbound in the westbound lane began turning right into a private driveway. It was struck on its right side by a red sedan traveling eastbound. Bonnie was transported to Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, where she later passed away from the injuries she sustained.
At 90 years old, Bonnie had lived through nine decades of memories, seasons, celebrations, challenges, friendships, and countless moments that shaped the lives of those fortunate enough to know and love her. A life that held so much history, love, and meaning has now become a cherished memory.
Her passing leaves behind an emptiness that cannot be measured. Yet, even in grief, may her loved ones find comfort in the beautiful memories she created and the love she shared throughout her years.
May every story told about Bonnie keep her spirit close. May every photograph bring back a smile through the tears. And may the memories of her life remain a light in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
