Today, we remember Danny Breaux Jr., 51, of Lumberton, Mississippi, whose life was tragically taken on Saturday, September 19, 2026, following a devastating crash on Interstate 59 in Pearl River County.
Danny was driving a 2019 GMC Sierra northbound on I-59 when, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Despite the efforts at the scene, Danny suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead.
His passing leaves behind more than a headline or a tragic moment—it leaves a space in the hearts of those who knew him, loved him, laughed with him, and shared pieces of life’s journey with him.
A passenger, Danny Breaux III of Purvis, was also injured and taken to a local hospital. As loved ones wait for more information about his condition, thoughts and prayers remain with him and everyone affected by this heartbreaking loss.
