Tonight, our hearts are filled with gratitude, prayer, and hope for Pastor Jake and Rosa following a devastating head-on collision in Midland, Texas. Their lives were suddenly placed in danger after an alleged drunk driver ran a red light, leaving both with serious injuries.
Above everything, we praise God for preserving their lives. God’s mercy has carried them through a moment that could have ended very differently.
Mama Rosa suffered a fractured sternum and significant bruising, enduring pain that no words can fully describe. Pastor Jake underwent spinal surgery and remains sedated as he begins the difficult journey toward recovery.
Yet even in this painful chapter, there is still reason to believe, still reason to pray, and still reason to hope.
Lord, stretch forth Your healing hands over Jake and Rosa. Bring strength to every broken and wounded place. Give wisdom and steady hands to every medical professional caring for them. Surround their family, loved ones, and congregation with peace when fear tries to overwhelm them.
May every sunrise bring renewed strength, every day bring progress, and every moment remind them that they are never walking this road alone.
Their story is not finished. Their purpose remains. Their testimony is still being written.
