The heartbreaking news of her passing in a tragic early-morning crash in Goochland County, Virginia, is difficult to believe, and for those who knew and loved her, this loss may feel like a cruel dream from which no one can wake.
Around 2:29 a.m. Wednesday, Virginia State Police responded to a devastating single-vehicle crash at Fairground Road and Anmar Drive. Investigators said a 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe gradually ran off the roadway and struck a tree head-on. Ashley was pronounced dead at the scene.
A juvenile passenger who was traveling with her survived the crash but suffered minor injuries and was taken to VCU Children’s Hospital for treatment.
