On September 16, 2026, the world lost a beloved soul, 57-year-old Kevin Austin of Gray, Maine, whose life came to a heartbreaking end following a tragic crash on Long Hill Road. At approximately 7:50 p.m., deputies with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a possible crash and discovered Kevin’s red 2012 Ford Escape in a wooded area beside the roadway. Despite the efforts at the scene, Kevin was pronounced dead.
