A LIFE LOST TOO SOON IN A DEVASTATING ALABAMA CRASH.

Life can change in a heartbreaking instant, leaving behind memories, unanswered questions, and a silence that words can never truly fill. Zachary A. Fogle, a 31-year-old resident of Calera, Alabama, tragically lost his life in a devastating early-morning crash in Shelby County on Sunday.

According to Alabama State Troopers, the fatal accident happened at approximately 2:56 a.m. on Alabama 119, about one mile north of Pelham. Zachary was a passenger in a 2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 when the vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned.

Tragically, Zachary was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle during the violent crash. Despite the efforts at the scene, he was pronounced dead at the location. His sudden passing has turned an ordinary morning into an unforgettable moment of sorrow.

The driver, 31-year-old Michael H. Files of Chelsea, and another passenger, 30-year-old Mary A. McDougal of Birmingham, sustained injuries and were transported to UAB Hospital. Their conditions have not yet been released.

Behind every tragic headline is a human life, a collection of beautiful memories, and people left struggling to understand why such a loss had to happen.

May Zachary’s memory remain a light in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though his journey ended far too soon, the memories he leaves behind will forever hold a place that time cannot erase.

Rest peacefully, Zachary A. Fogle. Gone too soon, remembered forever.
