Two Lives Lost in a Devastating Toledo Crash, Leaving Behind Heartbreak and Unanswered Questions.

A heartbreaking tragedy has shaken the Toledo community in Ohio after two women, Bria E. Boone, 32, and Laura J. Anaple, 64, lost their lives in a devastating two-vehicle collision on Thursday evening, October 29, 2026.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 5:54 p.m. near the intersection of North Holland Sylvania Road and Nebraska Avenue. The incident followed a pursuit involving a 2018 Ford Escape driven by Boone. During the pursuit, she exited onto Airport Highway before continuing onto North Holland Sylvania Road, where she reportedly lost control, crossed into opposing traffic and collided with a 2016 Honda CR-V driven by Anaple.

Bria was pronounced dead at the scene, while Laura was rushed to the University of Toledo Medical Center, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries. A juvenile passenger in Bria’s vehicle also suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

Two lives have been lost, and countless hearts are left carrying the weight of a tragedy that unfolded in a matter of moments. Behind these names were human beings whose lives held meaning, whose presence mattered, and whose futures were never meant to end this way.

As the investigation continues, our thoughts are with everyone affected, especially the families and loved ones mourning these devastating losses. We also hope for the recovery of the injured juvenile.

May Bria E. Boone and Laura J. Anaple rest in eternal peace. Their memories will remain beyond this heartbreaking day.

Gone from sight, but never forgotten. Rest in peace. 🕊️
