According to the Waco Police Department, officers responded at approximately 7:40 p.m. to the 2700 block of Robinson Drive after reports of an auto-pedestrian crash. Investigators learned that Marcus was walking in the roadway when two vehicles struck him. Despite the tragic circumstances, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers remained at the location and are cooperating with investigators. The investigation remains ongoing.
Behind this heartbreaking news is a family struggling to accept that someone so deeply loved will no longer walk through their doors. Marcus was a brother, a cherished family member, and a life whose presence meant more than words could ever express.
