Jacksonville, Florida, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Locboy Kavion, a 29-year-old Jacksonville man whose life came to a sudden and tragic end early Sunday morning on I-295 near Wilson Boulevard. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Kavion was traveling southbound in the center lane when he encountered a disabled vehicle on the interstate and swerved left in an attempt to avoid it. His vehicle then collided with a semi-truck that had stopped on the inside shoulder while its driver was assisting the stranded motorist.
In the aftermath of the crash, everything changed in an instant. Kavion’s vehicle rotated and came to rest across the left lane, leaving behind a scene filled with heartbreak and unanswered questions. Despite the efforts that followed, Kavion succumbed to his injuries. No one else was injured, but one family, one community, and everyone who knew his name were left facing an unimaginable loss.
Sometimes, life changes in the blink of an eye. A journey that began like any other became a final passage, leaving behind memories that can never be replaced. The roads may eventually reopen, the traffic may move again, and the world may continue forward—but for those who knew and loved Kavion, there will always be a place in their hearts where his memory remains.
