When a Life Becomes a Memory.
On Friday evening in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, 60-year-old Willie B. Brown Jr. lost his life in a heartbreaking pedestrian crash on Route 1. Around 7 p.m., Willie was struck by a northbound Hyundai Elantra while walking south in the northbound travel lane. He was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving behind a silence that words can hardly describe and a lifetime of memories that those who knew him will forever hold close.
Some lives are remembered in photographs. Others are remembered in stories, laughter, familiar voices, and the countless little moments that seemed ordinary at the time but become priceless after someone is gone. Willie was one of those people.
