Juan Pizano and Laydeker Chivas, Two Lives Lost in a Tragic Texas Collision.
With hearts heavy with sorrow, we remember Juan Pizano, 48, of Joshua, Texas, and Laydeker Chivas, 42, of Odessa, Texas, whose lives were tragically cut short in a devastating tractor-trailer collision on Friday morning in Reeves County, Texas.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the heartbreaking crash occurred on County Road 302 when a westbound tractor-truck towing a trailer crossed the center line in a marked no-passing zone and entered the eastbound lane, colliding with the tractor-trailer driven by Chivas. The violent impact ejected both drivers, and tragically, both suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
Two lives. Two journeys. Two individuals whose stories ended far too soon on a stretch of Texas roadway. Behind their names are lives that mattered, memories that will endure, and loved ones who must now face the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye.
