At approximately 12:54 a.m., a black 2016 Nissan Pathfinder and a silver 2016 Ford Fusion collided head-on near LG&E Road. Trenton, who was driving the Ford Fusion, and Karlie, his passenger, were both pronounced deceased at the scene shortly after the crash. In a single heartbreaking moment, two lives were gone, leaving behind memories that can never be replaced.

At approximately 11:42 p.m., emergency crews were called after a vehicle left the eastbound lanes of I-94 between Wadhams Road and Gratiot Road. Responders arrived to find a devastating scene in the east-side ditch. Kyle, the sole occupant, was found partially ejected and trapped beneath the vehicle. Despite the efforts of those who came to help, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Authorities believe speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash, while the investigation continues.

But beyond the crash, beyond the heartbreaking circumstances, there was simply Kyle—a 26-year-old whose story should have continued for many more years. There were still mornings he should have awakened to, dreams waiting to unfold, conversations still meant to happen, laughter still meant to be shared, and memories yet to be created.

A dump truck was turning onto Cove Commons Drive when, according to investigators, Matt approached the area at a high rate of speed. Police said he was unable to stop in time, lost control of his motorcycle, and slid into the dump truck. He suffered fatal injuries in the devastating collision.

Anon was also a detention officer with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, a role that reflected a commitment to serving his community. At only 21 years old, he had so much more life to experience, dreams to pursue, places to see, and memories yet to make.

Investigators continue to examine the circumstances, including whether speed or impairment played a role.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Corey was traveling south in an SUV when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Despite everything that happened, Corey could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Twenty-six years is far too short a chapter for a life that still had so many pages left to write. There were undoubtedly dreams still waiting, memories still to be made, conversations still to be shared, and moments that loved ones believed they would have more time to experience.

Around 9:50 a.m., Dawn was traveling in a Ford F-150 on Interstate 59/20, approximately five miles north of Eutaw, when her vehicle left the roadway, traveled down an embankment, and overturned. Dawn was fatally injured in the heartbreaking crash and died at the scene.

Though the circumstances surrounding her final moments are heartbreaking, they can never erase the life Dawn Mitchelle Buckingham lived or the memories she created along the way. Behind her name was a cherished human being whose presence meant something to the people who knew and loved her. Her smile, her voice, her kindness, and the moments she shared with others will now become treasured memories held close to the hearts of those left behind.
