In Loving Memory of Collin E. Giddings: A Life That Deserved More Tomorrows.

A Life That Deserved More Tomorrows.

Friday night in the quiet Town of Ridgeway, Wisconsin, became a night of unimaginable sorrow when 48-year-old Collin E. Giddings of Ridgeway lost his life in a devastating crash on USH 18/151 near Mile Marker 55. At approximately 8:41 p.m., Collin was traveling eastbound in his silver 2001 Honda Accord when his vehicle left the roadway and entered a ditch. As the vehicle returned to the highway, it was struck from behind by a Chevrolet Silverado and then hit by a Toyota Prius V. The violent collisions tragically ejected Collin from his vehicle. Despite the efforts at the scene, he could not be saved, and he was pronounced deceased.

In just a matter of moments, an ordinary Friday evening became a heartbreaking farewell.

There are losses that words can never truly explain. The passing of Collin is one of those painful moments that leaves behind questions, silence, and memories that will forever carry a different meaning. A life that was still unfolding was suddenly brought to an end, leaving behind people who must now learn to live with an absence they never expected.

The highway eventually grew quiet again. Emergency lights disappeared into the darkness, the roadway reopened, and another morning arrived. Yet for those affected by this tragedy, nothing could simply return to normal. The memories remain, and so does the profound weight of losing someone far too soon.

Collin’s story will not be remembered only for the tragic circumstances surrounding his final moments. He will also be remembered as a person whose life had meaning, whose presence mattered, and whose memory will continue beyond that heartbreaking night.

As the investigation continues, may those mourning his loss find strength in the memories that cannot be taken away.

Some lives leave footprints that time cannot erase. Some names remain written forever in the hearts of those who remember.

Rest peacefully, Collin E. Giddings. 🕊️🕯️ Your journey may have ended far too soon, but your memory will continue to live on. May you never be forgotten.
