With profound sadness, we remember Cody Bridgewater, 38, whose life came to a tragic end following a single-vehicle rollover crash on Monday in the 6700 block of Galena Road in Peoria County, Illinois. First responders rushed to the scene around 12:20 p.m., where Cody had been ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to OSF in an unresponsive condition, with no pulse and no breathing. Despite the efforts to get him medical care, he was pronounced deceased at 1:18 p.m.
According to Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood, Cody suffered multiple blunt force trauma injuries. Toxicology testing remains pending as authorities continue to follow the required procedures.
