Some goodbyes come without warning, leaving behind a silence that words can never fully explain. On Tuesday evening, October 13, 2026, 21-year-old Eestan Starkey of Zanesville, Ohio, lost his life in a devastating two-vehicle collision on Adams Lane near Somers Street. A young life filled with possibilities was tragically cut short, leaving behind a sorrowful reminder of how fragile and unpredictable life can be.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers responded to the scene at approximately 6:00 p.m. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2007 Toyota Yaris, driven by a juvenile, traveled off the right side of the road while navigating a curve before crossing the centerline and colliding with Eestanโ€™s northbound 2026 Kawasaki motorcycle. Tragically, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

๐Ÿ’” At just 21 years old, Eestan had so much life left to experience. There were still roads to travel, dreams to pursue, memories to create, and chapters of his story waiting to be written. Yet, in a heartbreaking instant, those possibilities were taken away, leaving a future that will never unfold as it should have.

No words can truly capture the pain of losing someone so young. His absence will be felt in the memories he leaves behind and in the countless moments that will forever remind those who cared about him that he should still be here.
