A LIFE REMEMBERED, A SOUL MOURNED, AND A JOURNEY THAT ENDED TOO SOON.๐๐๏ธ
With heavy hearts, we remember Trevor Gray-Ingram, 58, of Vancouver, Washington, whose life was tragically cut short on Monday afternoon, October 12, 2026, in an ultralight aircraft crash near Chehalem Airpark in rural Newberg, Oregon. What began as a flight through the skies ended in heartbreaking tragedy, leaving behind a painful loss that words can scarcely express.
Shortly before 4:30 p.m., emergency crews received reports of the crash after Trevorโs aircraft went down in a privately owned field during an attempted landing. He was the sole occupant and pilot. Although Trevor managed to escape the aircraft before responders arrived, his injuries proved fatal despite extensive efforts to save him.
The Yamhill County Sheriffโs Office, Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, Dundee Fire Department, and LifeFlight responded to the scene. Sadly, nothing could change the devastating outcome.
As the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, a life that once soared above the earth has become a memory cherished by those who knew Trevor.
Some goodbyes arrive without warning, leaving hearts searching for answers and souls struggling to accept what cannot be undone. One moment, the sky carried a journey; the next, it witnessed a tragedy that no one could have wished for.
Trevorโs passing is a solemn reminder of how fragile life can be and how precious every moment truly is. Though his journey ended far too soon, the memories he leaves behind will remain beyond the reach of time.
May his family and friends find strength in their sorrow, comfort in their memories, and peace in the days ahead.
Rest peacefully, Trevor Gray-Ingram. Your earthly journey has ended, but your memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who remember you. ๐๏ธ๐
