With heavy hearts, we remember Fabien Guerrero, 64, and his beloved son, Fabien Diego Guerrero, 31, a father and son whose lives were tragically taken in a devastating wrong-way crash north of McAllen, Texas, on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
According to authorities, the heartbreaking collision occurred around 11:38 a.m. on FM 2220, south of 6 Mile Line. A Toyota Scion traveling southbound crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a Cadillac Escalade. Fabien Diego, 31, was driving the Toyota and sadly passed away at the scene. His father, Fabien, 64, who was riding with him, was transported to DHR but later succumbed to his injuries.
In one terrible moment, a family was left facing an unimaginable goodbye—the loss of a father and his son together. Two lives, two hearts, two generations, forever remembered. 🕯️
A father’s love is meant to guide his children through life, and a son’s presence is meant to remain a cherished part of his family’s story. Though their journey ended far too soon, the memories they created and the love they shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew them.
