With profound sadness, we remember Dawn Mitchelle Buckingham, 62, of Eutaw, Alabama, whose life was tragically taken following a devastating crash Saturday morning in Greene County.
Around 9:50 a.m., Dawn was traveling in a Ford F-150 on Interstate 59/20, approximately five miles north of Eutaw, when her vehicle left the roadway, traveled down an embankment, and overturned. Dawn was fatally injured in the heartbreaking crash and died at the scene.
Though the circumstances surrounding her final moments are heartbreaking, they can never erase the life Dawn Mitchelle Buckingham lived or the memories she created along the way. Behind her name was a cherished human being whose presence meant something to the people who knew and loved her. Her smile, her voice, her kindness, and the moments she shared with others will now become treasured memories held close to the hearts of those left behind.
Some goodbyes arrive without warning and leave wounds that words cannot heal. The road ahead may feel different without Dawn, but the love and memories she leaves behind will continue to shine through the lives she touched.
