Landon R. Morris, Gone Far Too Soon at Just 21.

Today, we remember Landon R. Morris of Knottsville, Kentucky, whose life was tragically taken far too soon at the tender age of 21. 💔🕊️

On Wednesday evening, September 16, a heartbreaking crash occurred in Daviess County along Knottsville–Mount Zion Road. Around 9:35 p.m., Owensboro-Daviess County Central Dispatch received an automatic cellphone crash notification from the 8400 block of the roadway. When emergency crews arrived, they discovered Landon’s pickup truck had left the roadway and struck a tree head-on, leaving the vehicle severely damaged.

Firefighters worked to free Landon from the wreckage before he was transported by ground ambulance to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Despite every effort, his injuries proved too severe, and he later passed away. No other vehicles were involved, and officials said drugs and alcohol did not appear to be factors in the crash.

But behind the heartbreaking details of an accident was a young man whose story should have had so many more chapters. At only 21, Landon had dreams still waiting to unfold, memories still waiting to be made, and a future that should have stretched endlessly ahead of him.

His passing leaves behind a silence that words can hardly describe. For those who knew and loved him, memories of his smile, his presence, and the moments they shared will forever remain precious.

May Landon R. Morris rest peacefully, surrounded by eternal light. May his loved ones find strength in the memories he left behind, and may his name never be forgotten.

Gone from this world, but never from the hearts of those who loved him.

🕯️ Rest in Peace, Landon R. Morris. 🕊️💔
