At just 24 years old, Chase Nash of Dryden, New York, has sadly passed away following a devastating single-vehicle crash on Thursday evening, November 5, 2026.

Chase was the driver and sole occupant of a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck traveling along Hurd Road in the Town of Dryden when tragedy struck. At approximately 5:50 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the 100 block of Hurd Road after reports of a serious crash. Authorities indicated that the pickup had left the roadway and struck a tree before becoming completely engulfed in flames.

The impact left Chase trapped inside the burning vehicle. Firefighters and emergency personnel rushed to the scene, working desperately to extinguish the flames and reach the vehicle. Sadly, after the fire was brought under control, Chase was found inside the truck with fatal injuries and was pronounced dead.

Preliminary findings indicate that the pickup drifted off the roadway before striking the tree. No other vehicles were involved, and authorities have not yet released further details surrounding the circumstances of the crash.
