A Life Remembered, A Presence Forever Missed.
With heavy hearts, we remember Jeffrey R. Cottrell, 64, of Dennison, whose life came to a tragic end on September 15, 2026, following a one-vehicle crash on Midvale Mine Road near Canary Road.
According to the preliminary investigation, the crash occurred around 7:39 p.m. when Jeffrey’s vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway before striking a post and a tree. Despite the response of emergency personnel, Jeffrey was pronounced deceased at the scene. His passing leaves behind a silence that words can never truly fill.
Today, we remember Jeffrey for far more than the circumstances of his final moments. Behind the heartbreaking headlines was a human being whose life touched family, friends, neighbors, and members of his community. For those who knew him, his memory is woven into countless moments—conversations shared, familiar smiles, ordinary days that now carry extraordinary meaning.
