Nineteen-year-old Owen Ligammari of Adams, New York, has tragically passed away following a devastating early-morning crash in the Town of Hastings, leaving behind a sorrowful reminder of how fragile life truly is.
According to police, the heartbreaking accident occurred around 4:30 a.m. Friday as Owen was traveling southbound on Interstate 81. His vehicle reportedly left the roadway and entered the median. As he attempted to regain control, the vehicle overturned multiple times, ejecting him from the car.
Owen was rushed to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, where he was sadly pronounced dead. Authorities say the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
