Paul Alexander Kirkland, 35, Dies in Tragic Dirt Bike Crash Near Prince Train Station.
Some tragedies leave behind questions, unanswered moments, and a silence that words can never truly fill. What began as an ordinary journey on Wednesday night ended in heartbreaking circumstances for 35-year-old Paul Alexander Kirkland of Caddo Mills, Texas, whose life was tragically cut short in a dirt bike accident in Fayette County, West Virginia.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, authorities were notified Thursday morning about a missing person report filed in neighboring Raleigh County. Paul was subsequently found deceased near the Prince Train Station by a CSX employee who was walking along the railroad tracks at approximately 8 a.m.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Paul had been traveling northbound on Route 41 on a dirt bike Wednesday night when he reportedly lost control while navigating a curve near the railroad tracks. The motorcycle struck a tree, ejecting him and causing fatal head and neck injuries. Investigators noted that he was not wearing a helmet. The crash remained undiscovered overnight because Paul and the motorcycle debris were located some distance from the roadway.
Behind this heartbreaking discovery is a life that mattered, a name that deserves to be remembered, and loved ones now facing an unimaginable loss.
As the investigation continues, our thoughts are with Paul’s family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched.
Rest peacefully, Paul Alexander Kirkland. May your memory live on, and may those grieving your absence find strength and comfort in the days ahead. 🕊️💔
