Martin Jr., 70, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, tragically lost his life Saturday morning, October 3, after being struck by a vehicle while walking along the shoulder of Alabama 216 near the four-mile marker, approximately four miles east of Tuscaloosa in Tuscaloosa County. The heartbreaking crash happened around 11:22 a.m., and the vehicle believed to be a black Chevrolet Avalanche fled the scene, leaving behind unanswered questions and a community mourning a life that should have continued.
Harry’s passing is more than a tragic headline—it is the loss of a human life, a story, a presence, and countless moments that can never be repeated. At 70 years old, he had already traveled through seven decades of memories, experiences, challenges, and precious days.
