A LIFE LOST TO TRAGEDY IN DORAVILLE, GEORGIA. 💔🕊️
With heavy hearts, we remember Pablo Gutierrez-Gallegos, who tragically lost his life in a shooting allegedly involving Daniel Roman-Cortez outside a restaurant on Buford Highway in Doraville, Georgia, shortly after midnight on Sunday, October 25, 2026. A personal dispute reportedly preceded the deadly encounter, transforming an ordinary night into a devastating tragedy that can never be undone.
According to police, officers responding to reports of gunfire discovered Pablo unresponsive outside the restaurant in the 5800 block of Buford Highway. Despite attempts to save his life, DeKalb County paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Two other people seated inside the restaurant were injured by flying glass fragments caused by the gunfire, but paramedics evaluated them and cleared them at the scene.
Authorities reported that Roman-Cortez attempted to leave in a blue pickup truck before officers stopped the vehicle and detained him. Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a personal dispute. Roman-Cortez remains in custody as the Doraville Police Department continues investigating with assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
