A LIFE REMEMBERED, A HEARTFELT FAREWELL TO A SOUL GONE TOO SOON. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ’”

With heavy hearts, we remember Jason E. Laehn, 50, of Springbrook, Wisconsin, whose life was tragically cut short in a devastating collision involving a semi-truck and an SUV on US Highway 63 in the Town of Hayward, Sawyer County, Wisconsin, on Thursday morning, October 22, 2026. The crash occurred at approximately 6:52 a.m. near the entrance to Select Excavating, leaving behind a heartbreaking reminder of how suddenly life can change.

According to the Sawyer County Sheriffโ€™s Office, Jason was driving a 2010 Honda CR-V in the left southbound lane when his vehicle struck the triple axles of a 2020 Kenworth semi-truck pulling a loaded log trailer as it entered the northbound lane from Select Excavating. Tragically, Jason sustained fatal injuries. He was the only occupant of the SUV.
