A Journey Suddenly Silenced.
A peaceful Saturday afternoon in Lordstown, Ohio, turned into a heartbreaking tragedy when 64-year-old Ronald Shasteen of Salem lost his life in a motorcycle collision on OH-45, just south of Salt Springs Road. Shortly before 1 p.m., Ronald was traveling southbound on his motorcycle when another vehicle emerged from a business on the west side of the roadway. The vehicles collided, and Ronald was tragically killed.
There are moments in life that arrive without warning and forever change the meaning of tomorrow. For Ronald, an ordinary journey became his final ride, leaving behind a silence that can never truly be filled. A road that once carried him forward became the place where his life’s journey came to an unexpected end.
