The crash occurred around 6:46 a.m. on Interstate 40 near Exit 119 in Burke County, close to Hildebran. According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the Ford was traveling westbound when it crossed the centerline and struck Mark\u2019s 2026 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The impact caused Mark to lose control and be ejected into a guardrail. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.<\/p>\n
