On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, 18-year-old Richard Rowell Jr. of New London, Connecticut, tragically lost his life in a shooting near 153 Garfield Avenue, turning an ordinary afternoon into a heartbreaking moment of loss for everyone who knew and loved him.<\/p>\n<p>According to New London police, officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 12:04 p.m. and discovered Richard inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udc94 JUST 18 YEARS OLD \u2014 GONE BEFORE HIS STORY COULD FULLY UNFOLD.<\/p>\n<p>At an age when life should be opening its doors to endless possibilities, Richard\u2019s journey came to a devastating end.
