With deep sorrow, we remember Mr. Carey Lybrian Thomas, 53, of Sylacauga, Alabama, who passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026. His departure marks a sorrowful chapter for those who knew him, cared for him, and must now face the difficult reality of his absence.

There is something profoundly painful about losing a life, because no farewell can fully capture the emotions left behind. One moment becomes a memory, a familiar presence becomes a treasured thought, and the days ahead carry the weight of someone who is no longer physically here. Although words cannot erase the sadness surrounding Carey’s passing, his memory deserves to be honored with compassion, dignity, and heartfelt remembrance.

Every life leaves traces that time cannot simply wash away. The memories created, the moments shared, and the connections formed become precious pieces of a story that continues to live in the hearts of others. Though Carey’s journey on earth has come to an end, may his memory remain a lasting source of reflection and love for everyone who holds him dear.

During this difficult time, may his family, friends, and loved ones find comfort in the kindness of others and strength through each passing day.
