At approximately 6 a.m., Thomas was riding eastbound on West Ironwood Hill Drive near North Greasewood Road, wearing his helmet, when he was struck by a vehicle making a left turn. Despite the efforts of first responders, Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
