Some tragedies leave behind a silence that words cannot fill and a sadness that time alone cannot erase. On Thursday evening, October 8, 2026, a heartbreaking collision on State Highway 105, west of the Brazos River in Washington County, Texas, claimed the lives of Wallace Perry, 70, and Gloria Sanders, 70, of Washington, Texas, and Brooklyn Imani, 18, of Cypress, Texas.

In an instant, three precious lives were lost, leaving behind memories that will forever deserve to be cherished. Wallace and Gloria had journeyed through 70 years of life, while Brooklyn, at just 18, stood at the beginning of a future filled with possibilities, hopes, and dreams still waiting to unfold. Their stories were different, yet their lives were taken in the same heartbreaking tragedy.

It is difficult to comprehend how an ordinary evening can become a moment of unimaginable sorrow. The places where they once walked may remain, but the world has lost three individuals whose lives mattered and whose memories deserve to live on.

As three other people continue their difficult journey toward recovery after suffering serious injuries in the collision, thoughts remain with everyone affected by this devastating incident.

Today, we pause to remember Wallace, Gloria, and Brooklyn—not only for the heartbreaking circumstances of their passing, but for the precious lives they lived. Though their earthly journeys have ended, may their names never fade from memory.

May Wallace Perry, Gloria Sanders, and Brooklyn Imani rest in eternal peace. Three lives lost, countless memories left behind, and a reminder that every moment we share is a gift. 🕊️🌹
