A quiet Tuesday night in Taylors, Greenville County, South Carolina, ended in heartbreaking tragedy when 61-year-old Robbin Edward Lollis, a resident of Taylors, lost his life in a devastating hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Tappan Drive and U.S. 29/Wade Hampton Boulevard. At approximately 10:40 p.m., Lollis was riding a 2025 ZHNG motorcycle and turning left onto U.S. 29 when his motorcycle collided with a Toyota RAV4 traveling south on the highway. The violent collision brought a sudden and irreversible end to a life that had carried countless memories, moments, and chapters.

According to authorities, the driver of the Toyota fled the scene on foot following the crash before later being taken into custody. Charges were pending as the investigation continued, leaving investigators to piece together the circumstances surrounding the heartbreaking collision.

For those who knew of Robbin, his passing is more than another number in a traffic report. Behind the name is a human life, a familiar presence, a collection of memories, and years that can never be replaced. Sixty-one years represents countless mornings, conversations, friendships, experiences, and moments that became part of the story he leaves behind.

There is something especially painful about how quickly an ordinary night can become a final moment. A journey that began like any other ended beneath the lights of a busy Upstate intersection, leaving behind a silence that words can never completely fill.

Today, Robbin Edward Lollis is remembered not for the circumstances of his final moments, but for the life that came before them. His name deserves to be spoken with dignity, compassion, and remembrance.

May his memory remain a quiet light in the hearts of those who knew him. May the memories he created continue to live on, even as the road ahead is now traveled without him.

Rest in peace, Robbin Edward Lollis. Your journey may have ended, but your memory will not. 🕊️💔
