On Monday night, September 14, 2026, a heartbreaking tragedy unfolded along U.S. Highway 26 near milepost 74 on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation in Oregon, leaving two lives forever remembered and two families facing an unimaginable loss.<\/p>\n
Dagoberto Moreno-Prada, 31, of Eugene, Oregon, was driving an eastbound semi-truck hauling a large intermodal container when the vehicle lost control while navigating a corner. The truck rolled and slid into the westbound lanes, where it collided head-on with a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by J. Natividad Martinez-Colin, 35, of Vancouver, Washington.<\/p>\n
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
