With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we remember Lindsey Richelle Daleske, 41, of McCallsburg, Iowa, whose life was tragically cut short Friday afternoon, November 6, 2026, in a devastating head-on collision at the intersection of Eastman Avenue and 190th Street, north of State Center in Marshall County, Iowa. What should have been an ordinary Friday afternoon became an unimaginable tragedy, leaving behind sorrow that words can scarcely describe.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the heartbreaking collision occurred around 4 p.m. Lindsey was traveling northbound in her 2018 Kia Optima when a southbound 2013 Kia Sorento, driven by a 15-year-old juvenile, reportedly attempted to pass multiple vehicles in a designated no-passing zone. The maneuver resulted in a violent head-on collision between the two vehicles, claiming Lindsey’s life.

At just 41 years old, Lindsey had so much more life ahead of her. So many possibilities, unwritten chapters, beautiful moments, and tomorrow’s dreams were still waiting to unfold. Yet, in a devastating instant, everything changed.

There is something especially heartbreaking about a life ending without warning. One moment, the world continues as usual; the next, a family is confronted with a loss they never imagined having to endure. The pain of such an unexpected goodbye is immeasurable, and the silence left behind can speak louder than words.

Today, we pause to honor Lindsey’s life and remember the preciousness of every moment. May her memory remain a gentle light in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

May her family, friends, and everyone mourning this heartbreaking loss find strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time.

Gone far too soon, Lindsey. Your life mattered, your memory deserves to live on, and you will not be forgotten.
