With profound sadness, we remember Jessica Moore, 36, of Newville, Pennsylvania, whose life was tragically cut short Friday morning in a devastating seven-vehicle chain-reaction crash on Interstate 81 in South Middleton Township, Cumberland County. Authorities say a tractor-trailer driven by David Rodis Lynn III, of Round Rock, Texas, failed to stop for slowing traffic near mile marker 47.1, triggering the collision. The impact sparked fires involving the tractor-trailer and another vehicle, claiming Jessica’s life and leaving others injured.

At just 36, Jessica had so much life ahead of her, with countless possibilities still waiting to unfold. Her passing is a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly an ordinary morning can become a moment of unimaginable sorrow. One moment, life continues as expected; the next, a family’s world can be changed forever.

Behind her name is a human story, a life filled with moments, memories, and connections that cannot simply be erased. Though the details of her final moments are painful to contemplate, Jessica deserves to be remembered for more than the tragedy that took her away.

For those who loved her, the days ahead may carry an emptiness that words cannot adequately describe. The memories she leaves behind will forever hold a place in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.

The Cumberland County Coroner’s Office identified Jessica as the victim, with an autopsy scheduled to determine her cause of death. Authorities continue investigating the crash, and Lynn is expected to face a homicide-by-motor-vehicle charge.

🕊️ May Jessica Moore rest peacefully, and may those grieving her loss find strength, comfort, and healing in the memories they will forever cherish.
